School of Music Student Recital Checklist

1. Select a venue on Recital Concert and Scheduling.
Student Recital Venue Options:
1) Music Building Recital Hall 
2) Performing Arts Center Recital Hall

Note: Verify that your applied instructor, panelists, and collaborative pianist(s) will be available on the selected date/time.

2. Submit the Faculty Signature Form here to confirm your recital panel.

3. Schedule a Recital Hearing under the direction of your applied instructor.

4. Once the Recital Hearing is passed, complete your program here.

5. Two weeks prior to the recital: Submit your concert materials (program, poster, slide) to musicconcerts@txstate.edu for approval. Programs will be delivered to the venue unless personal delivery is requested.

6. Post-recital: You will receive an email from the recording technician within 24 hours of the recital, prompting you to download the recital recording via TXST File Transfer. The music library also receives the digital file for archiving. You may request a copy of your program from musicconcerts@txstate.edu.
