TXST Bobcat Country was founded by Dr. Jordan Stern in 2022 and explores country genres, such as western swing, traditional country, and outlaw country to name a few. The ensemble can be booked for gigs via BobcatCountry@txstate.edu.
There are no auditions and all faculty, staff, and students are welcome to join!
Rehearsals are 5:00-7:00 p.m. and 7:30-9:30 p.m. (tentative). The location is in Rm 125 of the Music Building, which intersects N LBJ Drive and is across from Pleasant Street Garage on the north side of campus. This ensemble can be taken for class credit: MUSE 3126.036 Chamber Music (CRN 22218).
