Rachel Turgoose

Rachel Turgoose is the Professor of Jazz Voice at Texas State University and the owner of RMT Music (www.rmtmusic.com). With over 20 years of teaching experience, she holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a Master’s in Jazz Performance, specializing in both Jazz Voice and Saxophone. Her extensive career spans professional performance, international touring, recording, and education. Now based in Austin, TX—the live music capital of the world—Rachel combines her passion for performance and teaching to inspire the next generation of musicians.
