An audition is required for consideration of acceptance into all music degrees.
All audition dates above are for Fall 2024 acceptance consideration only.

Preparation for Audition
Keyboard: BM - Performance Major
- Solos: THREE (3) contrasting works (one being a sonata) contrasting works chosen from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic and Contemporary periods.
- Sight-reading: Required. The ability to read without interruption in a steady tempo will be tested.
- Memorization is required for all students applying to any degree program on piano.
- Renditions and covers of popular music will not be accepted in place of classical music selections.
Keyboard: BA and SRT Majors
- Solos: TWO (2) contrasting works chosen from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic and Contemporary periods. Renditions and covers of popular music will not be accepted in place of classical music selections.
