Online Aural Exercises are designed by Cynthia I. Gonzales, Associate Professor of Music at Texas State University and programmed by Keith Haymond.

Within each exercise type, questions are drawn at random from a pool. You can, therefore, repeat any level and experience a different set of questions.

While working within an exercise set, your score will be shown at the bottom. At any time, you may click "Finish" and be given the option to email your
score both to yourself and to another person. This design allows instructors to assign Online Aural Exercises for graded homework.

Instructors: You can assign, for example, that students submit their score upon completing 15 correct answers with no more than 5 incorrect.
Or you can assign that students complete an exercises set three times, decreasing the number of allowable incorrect answers each time:
(1) 15 correct with no more than 10 incorrect;
(2) 15 correct with no more than 7 incorrect;
(3) 15 correct with no more than 3 incorrect.
