Percussion Marching Arts Camp
June 23-28, 2024
The Texas State University Percussion Marching Arts Camp is a perfect way to give your students an advantage for the fall marching season or upcoming auditions. The camp is open to students who will be going into 8th to 12th grades. Students must have completed a year of percussion instruction to register.
Students will work on technique, exercises, street beats and cadences that will prepare them for the demands of the modern drumline. Students need to bring their own marching equipment. Percussion keyboard instruments will be provided. (vibes, marimbas, etc)
Our guest clinician will be Carlos Botello.
Texas State University faculty members, Kari Klier and Bobby Lopez will serve as instructors for the camp.

The camp instructional staff will include our alumni educators from around the state who have successful programs of their own.
